近日,Transportation Alternatives联合80多家机构推出“NYC 25×25”提议,得到了纽约市长的支持。该提议计划至2025年,将纽约市25%的街道空间改造成可行走的行人广场、自行车道、绿地和公交车道。通过改造部分行车与停车空间,纽约市可以创造出面积相当于13个中央公园的公共空间。

Transportation Alternatives recently joined with more than 80 organizations to launch NYC 25×25, a proposal endorsed by the city's mayor. The proposal aims to convert 25 percent of New York City's street space into walkable pedestrian plazas, bike lanes, green Spaces and bus lanes by 2025. By transforming some of the driving and parking Spaces, New York City could create public space equivalent to 13 Central Parks.
